Johny Bilbao is a talented Venezuelan sailor born in 1974, who grew up around sailing due to his family owning a sailing school in Puerto la Cruz. He participated in the Finn class at one Olympic Games and currently serves as a grinder in the SSL boat. With his skills in handling sails and strength, he could also be a trimmer. Bilbao's notable achievements include a 1st place finish in the 1997 Laser Men's event at the Caribbean Open Laser Champs in Marblehead, USA, and a 24th place finish at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, CHN in the Finn class.
