Yamil Saba, born in Venezuela in 1975, is a kitesurfing enthusiast who participated in the Olympics once. Although he studied architecture, his true passion is sailing. Saba's knowledge and experience in the competitive sailing world earned him the role of tactician with the Venezuelan team in the SSL boat. Notable achievements include a 1st place finish in the Hobie 16 - Open event at the Hobie 16 World Championship in Captiva Island, Florida, USA in 2019, a 2nd place finish at the XXIII Central American and the Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia in 2018.
